Warung Ce | Se'i Khas Kupang, NTT

Warung Ce is the recently opened restaurant in Gading Serpong, serves homemade pork dishes, specialized in Se'i. Se'i is a typical smoked pork meat from Kupang, East Nusa Tenggara, Indonesia. This is definitely a heaven for pork lovers.

Nasi Campur (Mix Rice)
Nasi Campur - IDR 35 K
Steamed rice with se'i daging, babi panggang (grilled pork), pork satay and tumis daun singkong bunga pepaya (sauteed cassava leaves and papaya flowers).

The grilled pork was tough and difficult to chew.

Se'i daging had a smokey flavor. It was delicious but unfortunately the meat was kind of tough.

The sauteed cassava leaves and papaya flowers was good and not bitter at all.

Nasi Goreng Panggang

A fried rice with grilled pork. This one was lacking in flavor but the portion was generous.

Hekeng
Hekeng - IDR 27 K
Hekeng is made from ground pork and shrimp. It was tasty, crispy on the outside and moist on the inside. Recommended!

Sate Babi (Pork Satay)
Sate Babi - IDR 32 K
Those 5 pieces of pork satay were good. It also had a smokey flavor.

Overall, Warung Ce is worth a try. The price was reasonable. But I think the tenderness of pork meats can be improved.
