Quiznos is franchise toasting subs which is located at several area in Jabodetabek. This store that I visited last week is located at Supermal Karawaci. The place was quite spacious but comfy enough.

Bakmie Medan 168 Aek Eddy is located at Boulevard Gading Serpong. The place is easy to find because it is beside the boulevard. On my visit, it was so packed.

Lot 9 | Bintaro - Tangerang

Lot 9 is a hangout place that is located at Bintaro Sektor 9. They serve various Indonesian food and drinks with unique names. The place is cozy and it has quite big parking area. They have two dining areas : indoor and outdoor.

Seorae Korean Grill | Flavor Bliss - Tangerang

A few weeks ago, I visited Seorae Korean Grill which is located at Flavor Bliss, Alam Sutera. The building consists of two parts : the front one and the back one. The front one is much brighter than the back one. So I decided to have a seat at the front one for better pictures of course. :)

Tony Roma's Steakhouse Restaurant | Maxxbox Lippo Village Karawaci - Tangerang

Tony Roma's is a well-known casual dining family restaurant where you can find premier BBQ ribs and steak in locations across the world. This branch which I visited a few weeks ago is at Maxxbox Lippo Village Karawaci. At that time, Tony Roma's had four choices of power lunch set menu.

Taman Safari Indonesia | Bogor

A few weeks ago, I went to Taman Safari Indonesia at Bogor, Puncak. It's been a long time since my last visit so I was excited. The entrance fee was IDR 150 K for adult (Domestic), IDR 300 K for adult (International), IDR 140 K for child (Domestic), and IDR 250 K for child (International). The place was so packed at that time.

RM Kalimantan | Cipanas - Puncak

Another humble eating place at Cipanas, Puncak that I want to share with you is this Rumah Makan (RM) Kalimantan. The place was not really spacious, but quite comfortable. It was so packed on my visit, even though it was still 9 am at that time. Btw, on this post, I can't tell you about the price because I don't know about it. Hope you don't mind it. :)

Amen Restaurant | Cipanas - Puncak

Since I was a kid, everytime I go to Puncak, I usually ended up dining at this restaurant. So for me, this place is a legendary must visit restaurant at Puncak. I guess most of you already know about Amen Restaurant, right? Amen Restaurant serves various kind of Chinese home cooking cuisine.
On my visit, the place was very packed and almost full.

Bak Kut Teh is a Chinese soup that is popularly served in Singapore and Malaysia. Bak Kut Teh consists of meaty pork ribs simmered in a complex broth of herbs and spices.

Dimsum-ing at The Duck King | Summarecon Mal Serpong

I guess you all have heard about The Duck King, right? They have many branches in Jakarta, Surabaya, Bekasi, Banjarmasin and Bandung. The Duck King restaurants do not serve pork dishes, so Moslems are frequent customers to all its branches. As it's obvious from its name, duck is their speciality. But this time, instead of share about their duck dishes, I will write about their dim sum dishes. Dimsum-ing at The Duck King? Why not? :)

B'steak Grill & Pancake is located at Ruko Golden 8, Gading Serpong. Focusing on Western comfort food, they aim to be a family restaurant. They currently have three branches in Jakarta : Greenville (West Jakarta), Muara Karang (North Jakarta) and Gading Serpong (Tangerang). 

Fortu Coffee Shop | Gading Serpong, Tangerang

Another coffee shop in town, Fortu Coffee Shop. Not recently opened though. It is located at Ruko Vienna, Gading Serpong (near Stella Maris School).

Djournal Coffee | Maxxbox Lippo Village - Karawaci

In recent years the growth of coffee shop has been accelerating. It feels a lot more like part of a trend. Although I'm not a fan of coffee but I'm curious about Djournal Coffee which is located at Maxxbox Lippo Village, Karawaci. This place was not spacious but cozy enough to hangout with friends. There were smoking and non-smoking area.

[CLOSED] J.J.M by Chung Gi Wa | Supermal Karawaci - Tangerang

A few weeks ago, after having lunch at Chung Gi Wa, Supermal Karawaci, we noticed that they have expanded their business by opening another restaurant specialized in Korean noodle dishes. It's called J.J.M which means Ja Jang Myeon (Korean noodles with Black Bean Sauce) and located besides Chung Gi Wa.

Today, we finally have our chance to try the new restaurant.

OldTown White Coffee | Summarecon Mal Serpong

A few weeks ago, I bought an eating voucher at OldTown White Coffee. I bought it from groupon.co.id for IDR 81 K.
The voucher contains an OldTown Nasi Lemak with Fried Chicken, OldTown Spaghetti, and 2 Orange Juices.

Holycow! Steakhouse by Chef Afit | Alam Sutera

Holycow opened their first outlet in 2010, specialized in serving hotel class steaks. Holycow has now opened 13 outlets, mostly in Jakarta, one in Bandung, one in Surabaya, one in Semarang, and one in Palembang. 

Gokana Ramen & Teppan | Summarecon Mal Serpong

Incorporated in one group with Platinum, BMK (Baso Malang Karapitan), and Raa Cha, Gokana Teppan is a Halal Japanese restaurant. Using the concept of "cook by order", the food is cooked after your order is placed.

[Recipe] Fettuccine Carbonara

Ingredients :

• 1 tbsp margarine
• 1 medium onion, diced
• 2 cloves garlic
• 2 strips bacon
• 2 ounces fettuccine pasta
• 1 egg
• 200  ml milk
• 1 slice cheese, cut into strips
• 1 tsp multi-purpose flour
• salt
• 2 pieces chilies, chopped

Direction :

1.    Bring a large pot of water and boil. Add salt. 

2.    Add pasta and cook until al dente. After that, drain pasta.

3.    In a bowl, whisk the egg.

4.    Heat the margarine in a pan until melted.

5.    Saute garlic until fragrant. 

6.    Stir in onion, chilies and bacon, cook until bacon is evenly browned. 

7.    Stir in multi-purpose flour, milk and whisked egg.

8.    After each ingredient is cooked, stir in the fettuccine.

9.    Transfer into serving plate and sprinkle with cheese.

Craving for Indonesian food after strolling around the mall, we ended up having lunch at Es Teler 77 Summarecon Mal Serpong (SMS). It was quite packed when we got there, but we managed to find an empty seat.

Located at Gading Serpong, Warung Sego is a humble dining place that serves Indonesian food. In Javanese, "Sego" means rice. "Warung" means tiny shop or a kiosk. So "Warung Sego" literally means a kiosk that sell rice.
